Spirited Press Editorial Review

We suggest the Spirited Press Editorial Review as a stepping stone for every manuscript. The Spirited Press Editorial Review will offer suggestions to help you transform your manuscript to its highest potential and will provide feedback on your work’s readiness for publishing.

What It Is: A qualified and experienced editor will perform a comprehensive review of the first 30 double-spaced pages and a medium-grade review of the remaining document. Authors will be able to review embedded comments within the manuscript and will receive an additional, personalized page of information with suggestions, ideas, and thoughts specific to your work. This may entail overall theme and message, general strengths and weaknesses, suggestions for improvement, etc.

If you are looking for a simple, straightforward opinion on how to better your manuscript, the Spirited Press Editorial Review is an excellent fit for you. Completion time is generally within two weeks.

After the Spirited Press Editorial Review is completed and subsequent adjustments are made, you may choose to continue on with our editorial services, shop the manuscript to literary agents and/or publishers, self-publish, or move forward with Spirited Press’ assisted-publishing platform.

Spirited Press Extensive Editing  

We provide individualized attention to each manuscript. Every editing service (Basic and Extensive) improves the following areas:

Spirited Press Extensive Editing provides the services of the Spirited Press Basic Editing, plus additional attention to improving the content of the manuscript. Authors can expect more in-depth suggestions and corrections. This is a “best value” editing service. Completion time is generally within three weeks.

After the Spirited Extensive Editing is completed and subsequent adjustments are made, you may choose to continue on with our more detailed editorial services, shop the manuscript to literary agents and/or publishers, self-publish, or move forward with Spirited Press’ assisted-publishing platform.

Spirited Press Proofreading

After your manuscript is almost perfected, it is time to proofread. A trained eye can catch what a computer or even an adept reader can not. Proofreading by a professional will ensure your manuscript appears professional and will help ensure the credibility you hope to achieve. Highly recommended.

After the Spirited Press Proofreading is completed and subsequent adjustments are made, you may choose to shop the manuscript to literary agents and/or publishers, self-publish, or move forward with Spirited Press’ assisted-publishing platform.
